Finny B is really into waving at airplanes and cars that drive by. It's really adorable. He also blows kisses (read: Mom's heart melts).

He's makes lots o' animal noises too: Cow, Chicken, Sheep, Horse, Dog, Cat, Pirate (Arrrh!). He says Ba-Ba for bottle, oudide for outside, and many other things along that line.

Transitioning from 2 to 1 nap a day. Going pretty well.

The weather is beautiful so he and Joanna are spending lots of days outside and at the park. He LOVES being outside and often cries or puts up a fight when it's time to go in.

Went to Atlanta for a squash tournament/to see old friends. Was so nice to see everyone again and it was simply very comfortable (which is always a great sign of friendship). Fintan did a terrific job of bringing joy as always. Jeff played in the Lapham-Grant, a USA vs Canada tournament. He did his part to help the USA win :) We already missed our friends in Atlanta and this trip only reminded us of why. What a special group of personalities. Very dynamic and unique. Also, let's not forget to mention that Jeff and I ate SO well! We haven't eaten that well since, hmm, I guess since we lived there! Also, one morning I was going to make eggs but Elaine was out of them. I said I'd go across the street and see of Barbara had any and Elaine reminded me to check her chicken coop to see if the chicks had laid any that morning. Went out back with Nuggy and yep! Two fresh eggs for Nugget's breakfast. Amazing.

A week and a half ago we sort of had a scary day when a vein on his right neck bulged far out of his neck. He lips were a little purple as well. Called pediatrician, they said take him to ED. Worthless doc there was no help. After contacting my mom, dad, and brother, they all helped get advice from pediatric ENT docs, etc for better counsel. Finally on Monday, we were assured it wasn't going to pop (thank goodness) but that we did need to get an ultrasound for the vein and an echocardiogram for his heart. We finally got in to see his pediatrician on Friday and she was great. Got what we needed ordered. She said it could be something, it could be nothing, but that we aren't supposed to turn blue or purple. If anything, it could be some sort of coronary artery issue so we'll see. Keep little Nugs in your thoughts! He's great isn't in any pain...except for the 3-5 teeth he has coming in. Scary bit of time for Mom and Dad. Ay.

Having Fun with Nugget.

We think we're funny.

Lounging with Ziggy (Mike and Elaine's dog) in Atlanta. What a good doggy!

We had an evening of amazing home cooked deliciousness and then sat around and sang for many hours into the night! So fun!

We lost Fintan's hat one day on a walk around the old neighborhood in Atlanta. Two days later, we see this. Unbelievable.

Playing Piedmont Park!

In Orme Park, across the street from our house in Atlanta. Fun to have him back there.

Cool Nugs.

Getting so big. Loves slides and cars.
