Quick update, pics to follow. Nugget is AMAZING! Just had one week off with him-pure joy. We decided to wean him from his pacifier and he took it like a champ. A couple of rough nights and when going down for a nap was difficult but we comforted him and reassured him and snuggled him. He did well in the end and today has gone done for his nap and for bed without trouble.

Jeff gave Fin his first haircut today! Fin was totally rocking the baby mullet so Jeff wanted to be the first one to trim his hair. He has fond memories of Barber Bob cutting his hair so was excited to carry on the tradition.

Fin is clearly saying Mama and Dada now. He says "Mama" in a really singy-sweet voice but when I'm busy and he really wants my attention. he all of a sudden turns into a teenager from Jersey with a "Ma!" Jeff and I burst out laughing every time! It's awesome. He's babbling all the time and loves reading books. We finish a story and he makes the sign for "more." Love it. He is hauling booty when he runs these days and I find I have to sort of lengthen my stride to catch up!

We had a Cinco de Mayo BBQ yesterday and it was so fun to watch him play with other kids. He likes being social but then checks in with Mama or Dada. He also likes solo play time though. This week that I've had off of school has reenergizing. Fin, Jeff, and I have all been drunk on each other. I woke up so sad that I start school again tomorrow. :( Can't wait for summer already...

Jeff has his Club Championships on Tuesday night so then things might quiet down around the club a little bit. He is doing well and still enjoying his job. We signed up for a mixed doubles tournament this summer! It'll be so fun but considering I've only played doubles once, I better get on the court a few more times before the tourney starts. Fortunately I have such a great partner to carry me!

All is all, Nuggy is great. If it were up to him, he'd be outside all day long no matter what. He's incredibly strong. Seriously, the kid has calf definition (wonder where he gets that from!). And he loves playing, reading, exploring, and especially loves being chased and tickled. We're dealing a little with a hitting issue but we both think it seems to be more about frustration, specifically lack of language. Oh, and he's really persistent. Jeff and I are fortunately really persistent too, well, fortunately for us, Fin will probably not think it's so great some day. Food wise, still eats well and still not too crazy about meat. He INHALES hummus. Crackers are but a vehicle for hummus in Fin's world.

Pics later. Hope everyone is well.
