We have a fence! NanaBob came down in June (?) to help us build our long-desired fence! It's so nice to let Fin go outside and not worry about him wandering into the alley!
Finished product-looks awesome.
We went out to Rochester NY for Jason's graduation from residency. Major Congrats to him! We had a blast and our personal favorite was The Museum of Play! So incredibly fun!
Fin was thrilled to be "on tv" with elmo!
The Museum of Play-Imitating Mr Potato Head.
Bed head. Loved staying in a hotel while visiting Jason.
Woot woot! Congrats Jason!
Traveling to and from NY was a cinch with this guy! He is such a good little traveler.
Mama and Dada's Favorite Fro-Yo: Pinkberry! Fin obviously likes it too :)
Fin and Dada being twinners!
Helping Dada mow the lawn.
We had two medical students from Ireland staying with us for 3 weeks. Fin ADORED them. This is face after many discussions that they were leaving. He was so sad.
Fin started "soccer" a few weeks ago. It's more like a crazy free-for-all/dog-pile chasing the ball.
Jason stayed with us during his drive from Rochester, NY to Seattle, WA to start his hand fellowship. Fin was stoked to have him at our house to play with (uncle my Jason).
Bragging alert: We were out to dinner with some friends a couple weeks ago and Charlie took Fin out the putting green in front of the Club House to keep him busy until our food came. I was walking across the dining room and watched Fin line up a putt and hit it. I thought oh man, he really hit that hard thinking it'd fly off the green. The ball sailed about 20 feet and then disappeared! He no joke sunk a 20 foot putt!!! I, having slight sports tourettes, yelled out in the dining room: YES! Charlie on the green threw his hands in the air and was obviously yelling. Seriously, this guy loves to golf and it pretty good!
Getting ready to go to the cabin for the Fourth of July-Twins again!
Fourth of July in Tower, MN. Fin had a blast collecting candy (less interested in eating it)! Fun times at the cabin.
There's a whole lot of patriotism happening in this picture.
An updated baby bump pic! The only one I got all weekend! 34.5 weeks now! Woot woot!
Grandpa and Fin: Two peas in a pod. Grandpa likes tinkering around and Fin loves to help, the perfect combination.
Look at these two! While finishing with Dada at the end of the doc, Fin got a little overzealous with his casting and actually fell in the water! Good thing he had his lifejacket on! Well, we read a book where a bear falls in the water and when he comes up he says "Glug!" That Finny B, when he came up, after catching his breath, looked at Dada and said: "Glug!" Pretty quick thinking if you ask me! Hilarious. He wasn't traumatized and went right back to fishing after a change of clothes.
A member at Jeff's club got us some fresh-picked strawberries so naturally I baked a pie! SOO yummy!
Way home from cabin. Totally zonked.
I have 2.5 more weeks on my neurology rotation (which is super fun, btw) and then I'm break until Dec 1st! Everyone keep sending "Stay put until then, baby" thoughts!
