The Little Mulligan: 2014

Mac, Mac, Mac. Sweetie-pie Mac. He's an absolutely joyous baby. Smiles and coo and chats all the time. Unbelievably adorable and sweet. Rolls over front to back and back to front. Busy boy! He sleeps pretty well (gave me an eight hour block the other night) but then other nights get up every three hours. We're still finding our routine. He is crazy strong (weight-baring on his legs), is reaching out to grasp objects, and actually likes tummy time (for the most part). His eyes are still blue and hair still dark brown. Eating like a champ. We think he might be teething as he is gnawing on everything and drooling like crazy. Seems in pain sometimes but overall has an amazingly radiant demeanor. He lights up whenever Fin comes into the room-huge smile. They both seem to be crazy about each other.

I have lots of pics to post as November was crazy with my interview schedule. I went to NYC, Philly, Boston, St Louis, Seattle, RochesterMN, and I think one more...traveling efficiently and interviews going well. Just very tiring and missing my family.

Jeff and I went to our first Vikings game a few weeks ago-it was a gorgeous day so week biked to the stadium. The Vikes are currently playing at TCF (the Gopher's) Stadium. It was a great game (we won!) and it was so nice to bike around.

Got this fortune cookie while in NYC at the start of my chaotic travel month for interviews. True words!

Stayed on the UWS the night before my interview. Had so much fun walking around our old neighborhood! Felt like being back home.

I stayed an extra night to see my old, best post-bac friends Betty and Ingie. We laughed, we cried. It was so fabulous to see them again. Made my heart hurt a bit.

Jeff and I were able to attend a gopher football game! They beat Iowa in a great game. It was cold but we had fun!

Jeff, Fin, Mac, and I all went to Rochester, MN for my Mayo interview. We checked out the city and got a sense of the neighborhoods. Fin LOVES hotel rooms.

In preparation for our upcoming trip to Ireland we got the boys passport photos! Whoo-hoo!

The boys and I visited Dada at work one evening for a squash party. Jay got a good chance to hang out with Mac. Fun evening and Fin did a phenomenal job at listening. He had a blast with all of his friends!

Teddy took Fin a brief playdate! Fin chose to wear his Spiderman costume, obviously. He had such a blast with Teddy and I got a morning at home Mac and squeezed in a nap.

First family trip! We headed out to Seattle to visit Uncle Jason for Thanksgiving. I also had an interview at U-Dubb. The boys were SO GREAT on the flight. Proud parents.

A week before Thanksgiving, Fin put in a request for a banana creme pie. Well, Jason searched high and low and he couldn't find any banana creme pies. Rather than break a promise to a 4 year old boy Jason made a banana creme pie! He'd never made a pie before and it was tasty! Nice work!

Jason slept in quite a bit and this is Fintan waiting patiently for Jason to wake up.

We visited Pike Place Market and saw them throw fish! It was raining and cold so we didn't hang out too long but still fun to see.

We went to a place called Trampoline Nation: 5000 sq ft of trampolines! One area was dodge ball and this pic shows Fin getting Jeff! We had a blast and Mama was sore for a few days!
