Jeff was in MN this weekend and did some good work on the house with Grandpa! Jeff is back now and we're just preparing for our crazy week ahead. Jeff moves Friday am, I'll leave Friday night...I think :). Fintan and I missed having Jeff around but we had a lot of fun. Friday night Elaine, Mike, Lauren, and Tessa came over and we drank beer and ate pizza on the back deck. The 'rents then left and the three of us girls chatted the night away. It had be forever since I'd had a girls night and it was a lot of fun. Saturday Fintan was a little fussy so we skipped Caroline's actual graduation and laid low. Today we went to a protest in the morning, swimming classes in the afternoon, and then Caroline's graduation party (where Fintan swam again)! Busy day-the boy is tuckered and so is mama. We spent the evening lounging poolside at Barbara and CJ's (our monitor reaches next door). It was so nice and yet another reminder of how much we'll miss everyone. Sigh. Oh, and Fintan really started babbling yesterday interspersing hard consonance and vowels! Not all the time but definitely hearing the hard 'D' sounds!

Caroline's graduation party was today. Everyone was REALLY excited to see Fintan but he had just gotten up from a nap and wasn't so excited to see everyone else. After the crowds parted, he and I headed to the pool and he was excited to swim again (we had swim class earlier in the day). Shira is the girl holding him (Caroline's friend) and he loves her. He's a total water baby.
